Harm Weken,  Managing Partner

Co-founder of FIER Automotive and managing-partner Harm has over thirty years of experience in the automotive industry. Over the years he has build an extensive international network of researchers, governments, policy makers and OEMs. Among many other activities, Harm is the initiator of several groundbreaking international research projects and border crossing pilots in the field of electric mobility.

Edwin Bestebreurtje, Partner

Being an expert in strategic management and retail, managing-partner Edwin focuses on connecting the industry, resellers, fleet managers and end-users. Acting as the ‘linking pin’ in national and international networks, Edwin - who has been with the company from 2005 onwards – strives to unite all stakeholders needed to realize a mobile sustainable world.

Rob Kroon, Project Manager

Europe is the focus of consultant Rob Kroon, who joined FIER Automotive in 2011. Among others, Rob is involved in European research projects about the uptake of the electric car market and joined Dutch-German efforts to electrify trucks of logistics companies. His ambition is to help Europeans learn from each other how they can make the transition from combustion engine powered fleets to sustainable electric ones.

Ir. Willem Christiaens, Project manager

Realising the future of emobility is what drives Willem in his role as Project Manager at FIER. Willem is an engineer by training with over 15 years of experience in managing projects and organisations in the renewable energy and emobility sector. Willem joined FIER in January 2022 and his focus is to lead projects and programmes around the next innovations in emobility in the broader societal context.

Máté Csukás, Project manager

Máté Csukás holds an MSc degree in Enterprise Development and currently enrolled as a PhD candidate in Strategic Management in Corvinus University of Budapest. He works as a project manager for FIER Automotive & Mobility, and a project manager for the European Alternative Fuel Observatory initiative. He is a researcher of the strategic development of smart cities, and a consultant on smart and sustainable, particularly electromobility in the CEE region.

László Kerényi, Junior Project manager

As an International Business graduate Laszlo has always been interested in technological innovations and sustainable mobility. Starting his carrier as an electromobility intern and later writing his thesis research about electromobility in Europe, Laszlo aimed at researching state systems of electromobility subsidization and assessing trends of buying and marketing of electric vehicles.

 

As a junior project manager at Fier Laszlo supports a varied selection of projects while continuously working towards a more accessible electric mobility in a wide range of transport systems across the whole of Europe.

Alex Lamarra, Project Manager

 

With over 10 years private sector experience in B2B Sales & Operations, Alex is a strong all-round generalist who has been active in the European Fintech and Heavy-duty EV charging industries. His objective today is to use his private sector experience to make as much impact as possible decarbonising European transport and industry. Alex particularly enjoys working on complex European-wide technological innovation projects with diverse ranges of stakeholders.

 

Brussels-born and true to his European origins, Alex is comfortable working in English, French, Dutch, Spanish and Italian.
